Hello trusty backers and happy Friday!

The Playable Races Beta is ready here! You have to be logged in to the site to be able to download (please see the last update if you haven't received an email). 

We are very excited to get these into your hands and we want to credit everyone who plays them before we go to print in December. If you play any of these races please fill out this form here. That way we can add your name to the play-testing section of the book.

We're can't wait to hear your feedback either through the form or on Discord!

Logins Are Coming!

Hello trusty backers!

As previously mentioned we are going to have playable races ready for download by 9/14. To prepare for this I have been figuring out the best way to be able to manage sharing digital files with you. 

I have decided to create them as downloads on the Creature Curation site, the only hitch will be that you will have to be logged in to get them. That way we can make sure they are just going out to backers. 

As part of this I will be creating new accounts on the site for each of you who pledged at a level that would get the playable races. So tomorrow don't throw out emails that may look like spam. 

 Then once you click on it, you will see your username and a link to the account.

Clicking the link will take you here to the Login page.

But it's not quite over there, once you go to your account you will need to reset your password to ensure safe login. 

From here you will get an email with a link to reset your password.

It may seem like a lot of steps, but they will go by really quickly. 

After you have your account you will be able to access new files each time we upload them. 

Be on the lookout for your email tomorrow! If you have any problems reach out through Kickstarter or in the Discord!

Just a quick update to thank you for all of the add-ons!!!! The second post-Kickstarter stretch goal has been unlocked and we are less that $1,000 away from the next one. Thank you soooo much for all of your support.

Sorcia Unlocked in Backerkit, Next One is Real Close!

Thank you everyone who has gone in and filled out their BackerKit survey! We are already at 53% of surveys completed. And because of that we are only $128 away from unlocking the next one!

When unlocking the stretch goals we are only counting add-ons. Shipping costs that are being added don't count to the goals.

BACKERKIT IS A GO!

Ok, buckle up this may take a little while. BackerKit is being sent as a smoke test to a small selection of our backers as a test to make sure we didn’t forget anything or mess anything up. If you have received an email from Backerkit about your pledge, please go in and help kick the tires.

What if I didn’t get my email?
Do not fret, yours will be emailed once the initial smoke test has been finalized.

What the heck is BackerKit?

Backerkit is an awesome tool that helps us make sure all of you wonderful backers get what you ordered and more. You will be able to put your mailing address in and get charged for shipping (since that was not part of the Kickstarter), and you can add to your collection of Revilo trinkets if you’d like. If you have never used BackerKit before you can watch me walk through the process below

Local Pickup

If you are in Georgia, or would like to pick up your pledge at Origins or GenCon next year you can select local pickup and not have to pay for shipping :)! 

Why Now?

We are doing the BackerKit survey now so you can make sure you sign up for any add-ons you would like. This will make sure that we have enough items produced without producing a lot of extras. IF YOU DON’T FILL OUT BACKERKIT, THERE IS NO GUARANTEE THAT WE WILL HAVE THE ADD-ONS YOU WANT. Sorry for yelling, but this is important, and I just wanted to make sure you are aware. 

How Long Do I Have to Make a Decision?

We will lock down BackerKit on 9/14. That way we can make sure our final numbers can be tallied. 

When Will My Card Be Charged?

You will be charged the balance when the production of all items has been completed. We will make sure to give you at least a month’s notice. This way if you want to add on something shiny and you don’t have the money right now, it will be some time before we come collecting the rest.

Get Those Stretch Goals!!!

We have extended the stretch goals into BackerKit… so if everyone adds something to their order we will be able to add more glorious content to the project!

STATUS GRID

We will be including a Status Grid on updates to keep you in the loop as the project progresses. As you can see most things are still in first draft of writing. We’ll also include special dates at the bottom. We’re looking forward to releasing some of the content so you can let us know what you think!

DRAGONCON IS ALMOST HERE

DragonCon is almost here and it is in our backyard! Creature Curation will have a booth on the 3rd floor of AmericasMart. Please stop by and say hello if you are at the show!

NEW MINIS FROM NORSE FOUNDRY

Our friends over at Norse Foundry are making some pretty awesome minis! The painted versions are looking super-cool and I love that there are multiple arms for the characters. The custom-painted minis in their tutorials have had magnets put in the arms to make them easy to swap out! Check it out here.
